Happy New Year!! I am so glad you are here. Welcome to the Charlotte Alumnae Association. Each month, we'll be sending out a newsletter detailing what's going on in our ADPi corner of the world.

Moving forward, this will be our main form of communication. Our goal this year is to build a streamlined communication system. We're excited to transition our Facebook and Instagram pages to online communities for announcements, networking, and fun!

February Philanthropy: Early Learning Partnership of York County

In an effort to support our community and alumnae we are asking that you show your love for reading during the month of February, by donating to the Early Learning Partnership of York County. Teresa Creech, Zeta Mu Chapter, Appalachian State University, serves as the Executive Director. ELP was founded in 1998. This non-profit focuses on families with children from birth to age five, while growing the school readiness skills such as social-emotional bonding and early literacy to be successful later in life. Over the past two years, Teresa and her team have distributed nearly 40,000 books each year to children and families in our communities. Include "ADPi" in your donation to be entered into a raffle for a $25 Amazon gift card from the Charlotte Alumnae Association.

December Philanthropy Recap: Ronald McDonald House Luminaries

Thank you to everyone that supported us for our December philanthropy event with the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte.

We were able to raise $243.56.

For those that missed it; We sponsored luminaries that lined the walkways of the house for their tree lighting ceremony and New Years Eve. The house loved it!
