2021 ASSOCIATION AWARDS

July 27th, 2021

Atlanta, Georgia -- Alpha Delta Pi Sorority (ADPi) today announced the recipients of its 2021 Alumnae Association awards. Among the honorees was the Charlotte, North Carolina Alumnae Association.

Alumnae Association awards serve to motivate and inspire work in the areas of community service, chapter service, programming, and member engagement.

The Charlotte Area Alumnae Association was named a Three Diamond Association, the highest all-around honorific.

"We're truly honored to have received the Three Diamond distinction this year. We've worked hard to embody excellence in our membership and programming, and it's definitely paid off," said Leslie Ellis, Charlotte Alumnae Association president. "Thank you to all of our Charlotte-area members for their ongoing support and sisterhood!"

The Association was also awarded the Foundation Excellence in Philanthropy award, for service and contributions to the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation. The Alpha Delta Pi Foundation provides emergency grants to members in crisis, scholarships and leadership training for collegiate and alumnae sisters, resources to fight hazing and support mental wellness, funding for the preservation of monuments and memorials unique to our history, and more.

"Philanthropy is at the very core of what we do. We're happy to support the work of the Foundation, and the recognition is just the cherry on top!" Charlotte VP of Philanthropy Patty Murphy said.
